Christmas Gifts for Christian Children's Home
Once again this year, we have the opportunity to show Christ's love to the teen residents at the Christian Children's Home of Ohio at Wooster.  We have been given the names of four teens this year.  Please stop by the mission bulletin board by the drinking fountain and take a name and their Christmas wish.  Gifts need to be wrapped and brought to the church by Sunday, December 14th.   
 
Parent of Teens Meeting                Sunday, December 7th
Immediately following 2nd service 
Parents, we will have a brief meeting following second service.  The new parent guide will be handed out.
 
Shopping and Date Night
Saturday, December 13th     10am-8pm 
We just made your hectic life a little easier!  The teens will be offering babysitting services so that you can go shopping or for a night out (or both!).  If you are interested in taking advantage of this great opportunity, please email Nathan with the number of children you will be bringing along with their ages and what time they will be staying with us.  Cost is free-will donation.  All proceeds will benefit the Youth Summer Trips. 
 
 
An Island Christmas 
Kids' Christmas Musical          
Sunday, December 14th    9am and 10:30am
The kids have been working hard on this great program that you won't want to miss.  Join us Sunday morning for a moving program about giving.
 
 
Staff Open Houses

The staff will be holding open houses on Sunday, December 14th from 5pm-8pm in their homes.  All are invited to attend.

Wednesday, December 3rd - 6pm Guys at Nathan's and Girls at Mickie's
Teen Bible Studies will take the rest of December and part of January off and will resume the week of January 18th.
 
 
Encounter Christmas Party        Sunday, December 7th      6:00pm

Babysitting  Fundraiser   Saturday, December 13th
We will be doing a babysitting fundraiser at the church on Saturday, December 13th from 10am-8pm.  All proceeds will go towards your summer trips.  If you would like to earn money towards your trips, please sign up with Nathan.

 Kids' Choirs Dress Rehearsal
Saturday, December 13th  10-11:30am
 This will be our last rehearsal before our program on Sunday morning, December 14th.  Lunch will be provided.
 
Kids' Musical Program     Sunday, December 14th
If you are in the musical program, please meet in the red room in the kids' modular at 8:30am.
 
Get your kids to give their time

At three years old, my son made the worst sandwiches in the world. The bologna would hang off the bread, the cheese ended up in a ball, and the lettuce, well, that was typically picked off the floor and thrown away.
