 Jennifer Reynolds visiting Sunday, September 14th
Jenn Reynolds, a missionary from Taiwan whom we help to support, will be visiting us on Sunday, September 14th.  At 12:30pm, we will have a potluck picnic at Pleasant Valley.  Everyone is asked to bring a dish or two to share.   Afterwards, we will play softball.  Bring your gloves!
Adult Events
Parents of Teens Meeting    Sunday, September 7th immediately following 2nd service
There will be a brief but VERY IMPORTANT meeting for all parents of teens following the 2nd service on Sunday, September 7th. We will hand out our fall parents' guide which will include the schedule, Encounter topics, and important dates.  You won't want to miss this!
 
Financial Peace University  Sunday, September 14th  6-7:30pm
We will be offering the Financial Peace University class on Sunday evenings from 6-7:30pm beginning Sunday, September 14th.  This class is a great way to learn God's plan for your financial freedom and to give you the tools to be better money managers.  If you are interested in attending this class, please fill out the tear off slip to the right and place it in the offering plate.  The kit for the class will be around $100.  If you have children, they are invited to join the Kids' or preschool choir which will be held at the same time as the class.  A nursery will be provided for younger children.  Contact Brian if you are interested in attending the class.
 
                     Ladies Bible Studies beginning Tuesday, September 9th

Having a Mary Spirit:  Allowing God to Change us from the Inside Out   
by Joanna Weaver.  Childcare is provided.  See the bulletin board for
more information and to sign up.  You may also sign up by clicking here.  If you are bringing children, please specify how many children you will be bringing as well as their ages.

A Woman's Heart-God's Dwelling Place by Beth Moore.  
Childcare is not provided at this study.  Sign up on the bulletin board if you would like to 
attend this study.  You may also sign up by clicking here.  Please specify which study you will be attending.
 
These studies are a great way to meet other ladies and build relationships while studying God's Word.
 

 Whole Latte Love  Thursday, September 11th  9:30am-11am 
 Whole Latte Love is Back!  Join us on the 2nd Thursday of the month for a quiet time of relaxation and specialty coffee drinks as you enjoy other moms' company.  Child care is provided.  You may make your reservations here or contact the church office at (330)602-6008.  Be sure to let us know how many children you will be bringing and their ages.  Invite your friends to join us.
 
Men's Event   Saturday, September 13th    8pm
All men are invited to join us at Scott & Jessie Edwards' house to watch the OSU Buckeyes beat the USC Trojans.  Their address is 794 Olde Orchard NE, Bolivar.
 
Youth Events
Encounter begins Sunday, September 7th at 6pm 
 Teens - You have waited all summer and now your wait is over!  Encounter begins Sunday, September 7th at 6pm with a cookout at Nathan & Kelly's.  Their address is 415 Belmont Ave. NW, New Phila.  Guys bring a 2 liter, girls bring chips or dessert.  Bring your friends!  You won't want to miss this awesome event!
 
 Teen Bible Studies
  Teen Bible Studies are starting up again.  Girls will meet on Wednesday evenings at 6pm at Mickie Jackson's house at 303 Hillcrest Dr. NE, New Phila.  Guys have two studies to chose from - Tuesday evenings at 6pm at Scott & Jessie Edwards' house at 794 Olde Orchard NE, Bolivar or at Nathan's house at 415 Belmont Ave. NW, New Phila, on Wednesday evenings at 6pm.   You won't want to miss out on these great groups!  For any questions, email Nathan.
Kids' Events
 
Wandering Wednesdays September 10th and 24th   
Any kids, from kindergarten through fifth grade, can meet in the children's modular at 6pm on every other Wednesday night.  We'll have a short devotion and then load up in vehicles and head out to our destination for the evening.  We'll return to the church at 7:30pm.  Parents are welcome to come, we'll need drivers.  If adults can't come, that's alright too, just let Adam know so that we can make sure we have a seat for everyone who wants one.  Don't miss this chance to build our extended church family!
 

 K.O.P.s and Preschool Choirs begin Sunday, September 14th 
Beginning Sunday evening, September 14th at 6pm, we will offer preschool choir for kids 3yrs -5yrs as well as K.O.P.s, (Kids of Praise), for kids Kindergarten age through 5th grade.   These choirs will take place at the same time as the Financial Peace University class for adults.  We look forward to having your little singers join us!
 
 
Toddler Time  Thursday, September 25th   12noon
This is a time just for Toddlers.  We will meet for lunch at Tuscora Park at the pavilion behind the roller coaster and train. In case of rain, we will meet at McDonald's on the Boulevard.  Invite your friends!
